Michael is a companion and guide in Bend, Oregon. His work centers on the turns where people lose track of themselves: a slow drift from who they are, a relationship changing shape, or an awakening that needs somewhere to land.
He studied at Naropa University, where the Soul Codex began as his capstone: a way to reflect a person’s own story back to them, drawn from the oldest ways people have looked at a life, without ever telling them who to be.
His practice draws on Gestalt therapy, narrative work, interpersonal neurobiology and contemplative traditions. He listens more than he speaks, and he would rather ask the question that opens something than offer the answer that closes it.
People can see their own lives clearly once someone gives them the room to.
That conviction is the heart of his work. The Unfolding Path is his way of making that room for more people than he could ever sit with alone.
